"Madame La Pompadour"
(or, Madame wondered if perhaps paisley shoes
would put her outfit over the top...)

This is Veronica's first Hoffman Challenge entry.
Madame La Pompadour was her inspiration.

She is cloth over cloth sculpted face; features are watercolour pencil; wig fashioned from wefted mohair, shoes are Apoxy Sculpt.

Based on Gustav Klimt's 1907 portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer.
Adele is all original, and the eighth doll Wendy has made based on paintings.
Adele is her fifth Hoffman doll, and the previous four have all travelled!
